Lars Ashaka: To defend the concept of evil, you need to be able to make this distinction between commission and omission. But yet when we look at genocidal regimes, for example, one of the reasons they can exist is because millions of people enter into a state of willful denial. Would you agree those who would argue that not acting on climate change now, which most of us aren't in the way we could, will that one day be seen as evil? Perhaps. I wouldn't know, but I wouldn't use that term today.
