What Is the Meaning of the Ending of Mark 16, Nine Through 20?
If it was so different, it wouldn't make sense that it got there in the first place. And we have ancient translations that don't have it or they'll have another ending after verse eight. So if a scribe would be likely to get rid of it because of that, why do we have it in the book of Acts and without any variance? Or is it more likely that scribes say there is no resurrection appearance by Jesus at the end of Mark's gospel and consequently scribes wanted to add something?"
