Is There Such a Thing as the Self?

John Turturo plays an employee who thinks about things more literally until he meets Christopher Walken's character and learns to embrace a larger view of Cair. Britt Lower plays Hallie, a new employee who is rebellious to her core. She tries to get the better of her outy by attempting suicide. Then there are some people in charge of discipline but they do seem to be true believers in Cair's religion. They drink the Kool-Aid they serve others even if their brains remain whole. It is clear that we are exploiting ourselves when there are two versions of us and only one of those two does the work.
