The Immediate Causes of the Ottoman Empire Dissolving
There was an immediate revolt by Albanian Muslims in Kosovo against Serbian rule. Austria-Hungary demanded that Serbia withdraw its troops from northern Albania. The Serbs not only refused, but they sent more troops. And their public reasoning was to protect fellow Serbs against the Albanians.
