The Death of a Car
In 19 96, a few years before tela got started, g m developed an electric car called the e v one. California had just adopted a new zero remissions law. After california revised that law, g m seized its fleet of e v all of them. Griaving owners held funerals for their cars. Some might say that to be here, gathered to day to mourn the loss of a car would be going too far. We are here to say good bye to more than a car. It is difficult to know what to say. At a time like this, I consulted my rabice manual, and there was absolutely nothing in it for the burial of the car.
