The Importance of Separation in Social Complexity

I think, once you reach a certain level of social complexity and hierarchy. You have created a situation where your elites live in a different world than the rest of their society. Like they are in a bubble that profoundly warps their experience of the world like they're looking through. I mean you could call it mental illness and in like a strict sense it is. But of course it can't be recognized by that because they've the society has been built to select for that kind of mental state. And no one can get in the bubble and stop them as the thing because they built the system. That before anything else prevents that other stuff from being built on top of those directives.
