School's Not Prisons
i think it just speaks to the heart of this, right? Like, would you rather your tax dollars be going to schools, or would you rather going to prisons? And i think most people would look at that and go, yet, schools are a better idea than jails. It was mine blowing how fast we ramped up incarceration in this country,. starting in the regan era, right starting in the early eighties. By the time i got involved in tis in the late nineties, and we had seen it was something like forto in a forx a increase in the number of incarcerated people in this country.
