Noam Chomsky - Is There an Intent or a Quest for Fame and Fortune?

Tom Sowell: I have severe disagreements with Noam Chomsky's politics to put him mildly. But he doesn't think it is a quest for speaking engagements and fame and fortune. He says that the accusation that someone who reaches a broad audience is in it for the secondary benefits, the fame and fortune is not true in his case. The fatal misstep of intellectuals is assuming that superior ability within a particular realm can be generalized to superior wisdom or morality overall.
