I was born in Israel to a South African father who came during the war in 1948 as a volunteer, and my mother comes from an old Jerusalem family. At the age of six weeks, my family moved to South Africa, where I grew up, returning to Israel at the age of 14. And I've lived all over the place. I've lived in the States for many, many years.
