At the beginning, I was a tech enthusiast because I was more from the kind of Timothy Leary Terrence McKenna psychedelic counterculture. But then I thought, okay, the big business came and they sold us out. They turned these technologies from possibility makers into probability enforcers. It's an ideology that trickles down to the people who are learning it as engineering. And it's a culture that sees the best things in life as a friction-free society.
