Parents of this type have a hard time tolerating the experience of their kids not being on the trajectory or the path that they think that they eanlhey want them to be. And if that imeshment exists, it's a lot easier to obtain some diagnosis that somehow justifies their poor performance. So i do think there is a link between emotional tolerance for kid struggles and the rise in psychiatric diagnoses and drugs. We're in this fast food style o a service of medical care in the united states.
