O Rings in Space Launch Pads

When something gets cold, it's not as good at withstanding heat. So the space shuttle launches this rocket booster with the cold o ring, springs a leak at 73 seconds. The entire thing just breaks apart in the air. And i thi just never tested them for that, because they're like, well, in florida, this'll never happen. What are the odds yet?
