The Pros and Cons of Decentralized Social Media and the Fediverse
The Fediverse can diffuse some of the content moderation challenges that we see because not everyone has to live under the same content moderation regime. Another benefit is that people with super different views and in particular opposing views will not quite rub up against each other like they do on Twitter. So just from the demand side, you get less need for content moderation. I mean also you're not under anyone's dictatorial rule. You don't answer to Elon Musk, which is nice.
