The Battle of Rochester Castle

Sir William Dalbini led a rebel revolt against King John of England in 1215. The king's army surrounded Rochester Castle and began to siege it. But the rebels were unable to hold out for more than two months. Now they are fighting back by digging tunnels beneath the castle walls. When these supports are deliberately burned, the tunnel cave in bringing down the foundations with them.
