The Importance of Protein in a Plant-Based Diet

There are some nutritional challenges associated with a plant-based diet and getting certain amount of nutrients. One cup of tofu is 20 grams of protein or a half cup of beans is 8 to 10 grams of protein. A cup of quinoa is 8 grams. Even some pieces of whole wheat bread can have 5 or 6 grams of protein in one slice.
