The Bureaucratic Basket of Race

The way that Harvard and UNC categorizes Asians, it's encompassing something like 60% of the population into one racial category. There's no categorical distinction for people of Middle Eastern descent. And then there's a whole category for Pacific Islander. None of this is rooted in anything that is physical or biological or in reality. It's all a social construct.
