A mediaevals tended to have long periods of court they didn't get married at 13. Women, because they had less fat in their diet, tended not to mature and experience men's duration until later than modern day women. So it was quite normal for a woman to not even be of child bearing age until she was 15 16. There would then usually be a practices of courtship, which might involve what we would call, you know, heavy petting or for play. A certain festivals and holidays, like mayday, often involved a sexual for play, or justa all out sex. And a, technically, sex before marriage was taboo, but it went on all the time
