What's Going to Happen to the Car Parks?

The fate of those car parks, 150 in total, including 50 along Cambridge Terrace, is a test case for weather New Zealanders are serious about dealing with climate change. The Council announced in March they were going to spend over $200 million beefing up the cycle networks in Wellington. So this big is a really interesting question. Who owns the car parks? Who has the rights to say what those car parks should be used? And because these are big, nationally important roads, this is something that the central government gets interested in as well.
