Is There Something There?

If you actually listen to the radio in 1952 or whenever 95% of that music was crap. I mean, if you go back and listen to the songs that have not survived from earlier eras, they're horrible. They're badly written. A lot of the early Beatles was just stupid. You don't like those lyrics with a love like that. The stuff that we know, the stuff that still survives is the best of that time. Right. Is there something there or am I just out there without a mess?
