The Fires in Your Life Will Refine You

When jesus encountered the depth of human sadness, he didn't throw a scripture on top of it. The human response to an acute and sharp pain is ympathy. It's weeping alongside of people. Sometimes the fires in your life will refine you, they will deepen your faith. But other times this same fire that refines also destroys, or it reveals. sometimes the fires in our life reveal that we don't have the faith that we thought we did.
