Synthetic Poems
We've got these three forms of poetry, but many, many varieties within these forms. And you'll find that these patterns are constantly broken by irregularities just to keep the interest and to make it sparkle a bit. So sometimes the rhythm is broken, and sometimes the pattern is broken. Sometimes instead of two lines, there are three lines together. Or here's another from psalm three. O lord, how many are my foes? How many rise up against me? How many? A saying of me, god will not deliver him. Now that's synthetic poetry.
