The owl bear is intentionally monsterified. Like a lot of creatures in Spooky, the owl bear is aggressive. It attacks without provocation. It eats only meat. It is literally created to be a monster. Absolutely. But basically they're just an animal. A weird animal. They are a monstrosity. So they are hyper aggressive and... Right.
