What Is the Relationship Between God and Israel?
Jesus flees from the Promised Land to Egypt in order to protect themselves from the king of Judea. Now Christ goes in reverse, right? The king of Judean wants to kill him and so because of that, he massacres all these children. And so it's a weird, interesting reversal where Christ goes to Egypt inorder to be protected from the massacre. It kind of condenses the story of the exile from leaving Egypt into going to the Promized Land,. Joseph leaving his land going into Egypt to be protected.
