How to Increase Intensity for Race Preparation

As you're getting closer to a priority race or something like that, those eight weeks leading up, are you increasing the amount of intensity you're doing? I think the basic distribution will stay the same, but we're going to sharpen the intensity may come in the form of races. Low intensity may go even lower to compensate and make sure recovery happens. Rest is your friend if you've done the work. It's important to be able to truly mobilize everything on race day.
