The Meaning of a Word

The word cow is a cultural construction. We constructed it because we wanted to be able to communicate more efficiently, not because it objectively corresponds something in the actual world. There are forty thousand, 320 ways that you can rearrange all the words in that sentence. And practically every combination creates a sentence that is utterly meaningless to us. It's just as bmuch of random words next to each other with no meaning to them at all,. Until we arrange them in a very cific structure, a grammatical structure, a syntax. That is when things change from just a random jumble of words into a meaningful statement.
