What Happened to the Coy Family?

Danny Coy told his son Jason that he took care of the person who killed Eric. Danny was convicted and served jail time for shooting at a moving vehicle, but didn't hurt anybody. The occupants inside the vehicle said they had no idea who Danny Coy was, or why he shot at them. Following Danny's release from prison after the shooting, he took his own life. After murder, drifter left Martinez and probably never returned.
