How Much Protein Do You Need to Track Your Diet?
It looks like it's mostly the foods that contain protein and not the protein itself that drives satiety, which somewhat makes sense because often ultra palatable, ultra processed foods have the least satiety. And then whole foods have the most, regardless of macronutrient content. So I guess think of things like beans and lean meats in place of pop tarts. Obviously, you can eat a lot more calories from pop tarts than you can from beans, lean meats, high protein sources.
