The Dead Sea Is 400 Meters Below Sea Level

I just visited the Dead Sea. I assume the Dead Sea was going to be slightly lower. 1400 feet. Death Valley is 400 meters below sea level. There's a ton on every continent that are really low and then there's Death Valley, which is almost three times lower than them. And you're like, I'm at sea level now, this valley is really far down. It was a strange sensation. This is like swimming in space.
