Isolated Exercises for the Foot

I love the open chain exercise that JB maren has that he's put out there and those are things that I do with my athletes as well we'll do different open chain positions but we'll also play around with what I would consider more isolated positions. When people do a lot of barefoot work is they go for the gusto like it's not about sprinting barefoot it's about doing these intrinsic activation based exercises to give you a better foundational stability. But I think people are getting a little too carried away of doing all their locomotion drills barefoot. There is the juice worth the squeeze in some of those aspects or the risk benefit, says coach.
