Vanguard recently published its How America Saves Report. The report looked at the 5 million accounts within 1700 defined contribution plans administered by Vanguard as of 2022. For almost half of them, you don't even have to participate in the plan. Another key feature these days is the percentage of plans that offer Roth accounts.

When interest rates rise, investors are supposed to move to safer assets.
