I suppose the first thing we should do when we're thinking about childhood is define what a child was in Tudor England. When setting boundaries, there was a very well understood idea of the ages of math that human life goes through certain stages. So they would have lumped infancy along with us as well. And their adolescence would be like ours in some ways, at a halt and in some ways not. These are sometimes very home of that.
