What Do You Think About Social Media and Trump?
YouTube does actively suppress certain topics. They're not afraid to ban channels or take down videos and give strikes, depending on the content. I feel like some of this moral panic was caused by Trump being elected. People are looking to try and find code reasons why people voted for Trump. And you could complain about it, jump on me down and then have them mechanically change the algorithm and fix politics. But that's definitely not the case.
