There is no single, common accepted definition of artificial intelligence. We are trying to accomplish not just the things that computers are already good at, but we're trying to accomplish the things that machines really are not currently good at. And so you coulnd think of a sort of a general definition of artificial Intelligence as machine behavior and functionality that exhibits the intelligence and behavior of humans.
