How Well Called Are Our Forecasts?

Howard Kurtz: How well calibrated are our forecasts? Very well. If anything, historically a little under-competent that there are, again, fewer upsets than our model purports. But as far as our forecasts are concerned and their calibration, when it gets to the sort of 70 to 50%, 75 to 50% chance range, they do very well.
