One year ago in January of 2022 when the primary races were heating up in Georgia, there became a battle of who could have the best education policy. The state actually removed my social emotional skills lesson from their website because one of the candidates accused the Department of Ed and Governor of teaching what they call critical race theory. Tracy says that she and the other fellows are trying to use their platform to speak up on behalf of teachers who might not be able to.
