Can Dogs Smell Diseases?
Dogs can be trained to reliably find an odor and tell us about it. They've done various forms of cancer, bladder cancer, prostate cancer, and breast cancer. Now they're starting to test this ability on COVID - people who are carrying the coronavirus. If scientists can reverse engineer what's going on in a dog's nose, they could use a robot nose for pandemic sniffing.
