Sensory states can influence an external state. Mathematically it is mathematically allowable in the sense that you do not destroy that mark of blanket or the statistical properties of that mark of Blanket. So there's no way my photoreceptors or my cochlear in my ear materially affect the outside. And then you would not normally expect the sensory states to influence the external state. But that's not the case for much simpler things, such as cells.
