What Happened to the Coach?
A high school football coach lost his job because he knelt at midfield after games to offer a quiet prayer of thanks. There's an inherent tension where the coach has a right to practice his religion, but the school cannot be perceived as endorsing religion. But those boundaries are often hazy, and as a result, the court has been called upon to draw some lines here. The majority opinion uses a tactic which is focusing entirely on using a tactic that will not work in this case.
