The Importance of Early Experiences in the Development of Trust
Trust is something that's elementary and really body-based. It's visceral it's from that very first interaction which anchors us in the world. There's a series of experiments called the Still Face Experiment where a mother or caregiver is asked from as young as eight weeks old. These are the babies that will be quite vulnerable later on and may struggle in later life to trust people who are not trustworthy.
