The Japanese's Plan for the Battle of Henderson Field

The battle of Matanakao took place in October 1944. The Japanese had a plan to attack from the south and go straight into the airfield, which is only about 11 or 1200 yards away from the bloody ridge. At that stage, US Army had landed many during the US Army was even inMatanakao. In fact, it was more US Army than the one in Matanaksa at this time.
