Kanute - King of England
In ten 16, when so many people were tired and disillusioned with ethelred's rule, they pretty quickly opted for knute. Kanute had already been previously recognized as the king of both denmark and norway, as well as having power over the dane law in britain. So he ruled over what historians have called a massive north sea empire,. which was very impressive and could command tremendous resources tes all these countries rounding the entire north sea.
