I don't see how this trend for listlessness is reversed short of a depression level economic crisis or the implementation of a real AI automaton. How do we re teach work ethic after being ghosted by countless job applicants and paying higher and higher wages for less and less production I say, bring on the robots. It's very difficult once you've paid people to sit at home doing nothing to convince them that earning less by going into work particularly the job that maybe isn't creative or all that much fun to do.
