The Neuro Mechanical Matching Effects of the Squat
As we progress through the extension range of motion, obviously the squat is most difficult in that flexive position. So even though technically the glutes are going to be the prime hip extensor in the contract position, that doesn't really matter because we're not really producing a lot of force. I have always said, I think the squat is secretly an inductor Magnus exercise and you actually did a very cool research paper on it. We also talked about neuro mechanical matching and links to tension relationship.
