The Meat Paradox

As humans we've been consuming animals for at least 2 million years. Today we slaughter over 80 billion land animals for food each year. That includes more than 70 billion chickens, followed by pigs, sheep and cows. In 2011 two psychologists coined the term the meat paradox which explores how we're able to hold two conflicting beliefs at the same time.
