Sassir filled over, was it 200 notebooks with his. And so this all leads me actually to kind of a weird question I guess, which is like, did you,. were you tempted to just fill some notebooks on all of this? Like, I can imagine being entrained by sassir's own reticence to publish and the way that he was encountering these discoveries is something he could teach but not necessarily publish. So how did you get past that? How did you not just fill notebooks? No, I love this question. Because I think it identifies the paradox of writing a book about linguistics and wanting to be faithful to that and wanting to reflect this endless
