After the scapegoat is eliminated, expelled, dies, traditionally, takes on a mistique or sacred kind of power. And in fact, many cultures have myth about ascapegoading process that that results in creating a new god. Girardi: One one way to be chosen as a scapegoat is simply to stand out too much to get noticed.
