The Miracle of Rana Valano
In 1835, Rana Valano became sick with a mysterious illness. She had tolerated Christianity for a while but it was starting to infiltrate the nobility. After her recovery, she outlawed baptizing of Malagas subjects and banished all non-native missionaries. The next year, she would begin executing not just European Christians, but her own converted subjects.
