Chinese state media is always looking for foreigners to use in their propaganda campaign. The word of a foreigner counts a lot more than the word of a local person. And so this is why you get the whole white monkey job thing in the first place. This guy went over to work for, um, people's daily, ended up staying in Beijing. So they're like, we've got a foreigner that works for us who has a kid. So let's use him and his kid for state propaganda. It's really disturbed that he brought his child into state media propaganda,. which is just really weird and kind of gross to me.
