The Michaud Mission: A Black Film Review
The Michaud Mission is named after the great, the granddaddy, actually, of Black cinema Oscar Michaud. In honor of him and his legacy, Vincent and I in 2016 got together to start a podcast where we will watch and review every Black film that has ever been made. The color purple is a film based on a Black novel featuring almost an entirely Black cast, but it's directed by Steven Spielberg. Orm Rosario Dawson might be the only person of color in there? Is that a Black film?
