The Idea of Utopian Possibility

i really love the idea of thinking about the utopian in order to avoid the complacency of inevitability. There is this potential here and now let's work toward its activation, its actualization, transformation. This is how we begin to create the utopic possibility. I think imagination frequently gets short shrift philosophically because, epistemologically, it seems to only go astray. It seems only to bring us away from reality.
